The Role

Essential Recruitment are looking for an experienced Flexographic Printer to operate and maintain 8-colour flexographic printing presses within a busy and quality-focused print environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient press performance, maintaining print quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining 8-colour flexographic printing presses
• Optimising press speeds and reducing downtime during job changes
• Identifying and resolving print faults with a strong attention to detail
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the print department
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve production deadlines and quality targets
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standards

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within flexographic printing
• Previous experience within the printed packaging sector preferred
• Strong understanding of print quality, colour control, and fault finding
• Good mechanical awareness and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
