Are you a physiotherapist with a special interest in working with long term respiratory conditions?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to work as part of the senior respiratory Physiotherapy team at ARI working in the Home Oxygen / Respiratory team.

This post would suit an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist who is looking to develop their clinical and managerial skills. Clinical development will be supported with CPD time and the department actively encourages staff of all grades to meet their potential.

The successful post holder will work alongside established senior clinicians supporting the MDT in managing patients for whom oxygen assessment is requested and supporting those who already have it in place. You will also work to develop and provide services for people living with Bronchiectasis and other chronic respiratory conditions.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and develop skills in this specialty area. It will include Inpatient, Outpatient, domiciliary and virtual (nearme) work.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist with experience in respiratory including oxygen assessment and provision and airway clearance. A broad range of respiratory skills is essential and the ability to work across a MDT is essential.

Due to the nature of the post a car driver is essential.

This post will contribute to out of hours working.

The Physiotherapy Department in the Acute Sector provides a supportive working environment with structured supervision, appraisal and in service training in place.
