Hours: 8:30-15:30
£140-£250 per day
Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Alfreton on a part-time basis (3 days per week) from September through to December.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a KS1 specialist or passionate primary teacher looking for a flexible teaching role within a supportive school environment.
The Role
- Teaching a Year 1 class (Key Stage 1)
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Working closely with TA support, staff, and parents
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in KS1 / Year 1 (preferred)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and inspire young learners
- Reliable, organised, and committed to high teaching standards
