We are accepting proposals from creatives at all stages of their development and are particularly interested in people who want to experiment and innovate.
Relevant specialisms within wood and furniture making include: cabinet making, hand-cut joinery, marquetry & inlay, wood turning, wood carving, green woodworking, coopering, and work with sustainable or reclaimed timber.
We welcome applications from makers working across all of these disciplines and many more. You will need to upload your CV, Artist’s Statement and three images of your work. Shortlisted applicants will engage in an initial online conversation with key organisations in Farnham to explore their aspirations for this residency and to discuss what other support might be needed.
Farnham World Craft Town is happy to discuss flexibility if any aspect of the offer needs adapting to suit your needs. This residency is funded by The Farnham South Street Trust and is managed by Farnham Town Council.
