Deliver Educational Psychology Service work for identified settings and learners, including those off-island.
Apply psychological theory and research to reduce barriers to learning and strengthen resilience in children and families.
Develop and maintain effective partnerships between children, families, and educational professionals.
Provide expert advice for vulnerable groups and complex cases, including statutory assessments and annual reviews.
Support schools in developing innovative strategies to improve teaching, behaviour, and attendance.
Deliver psychological input for needs assessments and complex reviews in line with legislation.
Provide consultation and support to parents and carers to improve outcomes for learners.
Deliver training to build capacity within educational settings.
Support critical incident and trauma response in schools when required.
Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative duties.
Stay updated with policy and legislative changes to ensure best practice.
Supervise and support assistant or trainee educational psychologists when required.
