A highly respected insurance broker is seeking a client-focused Account Handler to join their established team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of SME Commercial clients, delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.

About the Role:

• You’ll join an established team of 8 Account Handlers supporting SME clients with individual premiums of up to £10,000. 
• You’ll work closely with Account Executives, and you’ll be the first point of contact for all client queries, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism and expertise.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering a high-quality, efficient service to clients across a variety of sectors.
• Supporting Account Executives in the day-to-day management and renewal of client portfolios.
• Preparing, processing, and reviewing all documentation related to policy placement, amendments, and renewals.
• Building strong relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish.
• Contributing to the company’s strong reputation for professionalism, competence, and outstanding customer service.

About You:

• We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a genuine passion for delivering excellence.
• Previous experience within SME or commercial account handling gained within an insurance brokerage.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and handle complex information with confidence.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, negotiation, and client management.
• A commitment to personal and professional growth – CII study support is available for those looking to progress their qualifications.

Salary/Benefits Information:

• Salary to £35,000
• Market leading benefits package
