PA/Personal Care Assistant
£16 per hourFull-time
Job description
This is to assist a disabled lady in living as independently as possible in her own home. Mainly to help two mornings per week to get out of bed, showered and dressed and two afternoons assisting with house tasks. Other duties may be required as time permits.
Responsibilities
- Assist the individual with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing etc
- Preparing light meal
- Provide physical assistance and support with wheelchairs
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of basic healthcare practices and procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a health care setting or with individuals facing challenges or disabilities
Further Information
Mondays and Fridays 1.5 hours each morning, Wednesdays and Thursdays 1.5 hours each afternoon.
