People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Tipper Driver, Rigid Driver, Lorry Driver, Construction Driver or Bulk Haulage Driver .

- £14.00 - £28.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Safely operating a Class 2 tipper vehicle to customer and site locations - Completing tipper deliveries safely and efficiently - Loading and unloading materials where required - Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects - Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time - Following planned routes and delivery schedules - Adhering to all road transport legislation and health and safety procedures - Communicating effectively with transport planners, customers and site staff - Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will need:

- A valid UK Category C Driving Licence - A valid CPC Qualification Card - A valid Digital Tachograph Card - No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements) - A reliable, professional and punctual attitude - Good communication and customer service skills - A good understanding of road transport legislation and driver compliance - The ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team

Desirable Experience

- Previous tipper driving experience - Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience - Experience within construction, aggregates or bulk haulage - Customer-facing delivery experience

Training Provided

- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
