Support Worker – Ty Nelson (Treharris, CF46)
£13.45 – £13.75 per hour | 40.25 hours per week | Full UK Driving Licence Essential
Key Responsibilities: - Delivering person-centred care and support plans
- Supporting independent living skills (cooking, budgeting, self-care)
- Promoting positive behaviour support (PBS) and emotional regulation
- Supporting community access and social inclusion
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Working within safeguarding, CQC, and health & social care standards
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams This Support Worker role involves a combination of hands-on care, emotional support, and structured activity planning within a residential setting. What We’re Looking For - Experience in support work, care assistant roles, or residential care (desirable but not essential)
- Passion for working in adult social care / autism support
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, resilient, and patient under pressure
- Flexibility for shift work, including weekends and sleep-ins
- Basic IT skills for care documentation
- Full UK driving licence (essential) All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A successful Support Worker will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and commitment to safeguarding.
