Job Description

Security Officer (Nights) | Sheffield | £14.56 per Hour | Permanent

Location: Sheffield (S9 1XW)

Pay: £14.56 per hour

Hours: 42 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off Nights

Licence Required: Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for our client, protecting people, property and assets while providing outstanding customer service.

• Takes ownership and follows procedures accurately

• Is reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards every shift

Qualifications

What You'll Need

Essential

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills with the ability to complete accurate reports
• A professional, customer-focused approach
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work permanent 4 On 4 Off night shifts
• Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC)

Desirable

• Previous experience within corporate, industrial or high-profile security
• CCTV experience
• First Aid qualification (training can be provided)
• Experience using access control or security management systems

Security Clearance Requirements

This role requires you to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

To be eligible you must:

• Have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years
• Be able to provide a full five-year employment, education or activity history
• Successfully complete the required vetting and background checks
