Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon – Fixed-Term Contract – 12 months
A motivated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon is sought to join a supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. This opportunity is ideal for a vet who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional standards of patient and client care.
The successful candidate will be based in a 24 hour hospital, managing a varied caseload alongside an experienced and supportive team. The practice is equipped with modern facilities, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and laparoscopic spay equipment, enabling a high standard of clinical care plus advanced services such as orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and CT scanning.
Conveniently located, the practice benefits from excellent transport connections.
This full-time role involves working 40 hours across four days, with no out-of-hours commitments.
The position offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support career development and wellbeing. Benefits include private medical insurance, a health cash plan, life assurance. Annual leave starts at five weeks plus bank holidays
Professional development is strongly encouraged through a £1,500 CPD allowance, three days of paid CPD leave each year, access to internal clinical communities and training, as well as funded certificates and clear career progression pathways. Additional support includes paid RCVS, VDS, and BVA fees, with relocation assistance, visa sponsorship.
