We are looking for a Finance & Payroll Administrator to join our The Entertainer site in Banbury . You will be playing a vital role in supporting both the Finance and HR functions. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services, maintaining financial records and controls, producing key reports, and acting as a trusted point of contact for payroll and time & attendance queries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and making a real impact across the business.
This is a full-time, permanent role, working predominately , Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 17:00. You choose which of these works best. There is the requirement to be flexible on occasion.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Managing weekly and monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission
- Producing payroll, finance, and customer reports, including weekly costings and reconciliation activities
- Acting as the first point of contact for payroll and Time & Attendance queries, resolving issues within agreed service levels
- Maintaining payroll and Time & Attendance systems, ensuring all employee data, rates of pay, and records are accurate and up to date
- Supporting the Finance function with purchase orders, reporting requirements, financial administration, and continuous improvement initiatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in payroll, finance, administration, or a similar detail-focused office environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with confidence using Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised, analytical, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
