About the Role
The Facilities Manager will lead the day-to-day management of the school’s facilities and premises, ensuring a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role involves strategic planning, budget oversight, and managing a small team of site staff.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing the maintenance and repair of school buildings and grounds
• Overseeing site staff, including caretakers and cleaners
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations
• Coordinating with contractors and service providers
• Planning and managing facilities budgets
• Supporting school events, lettings, and operational logistics
