Fortrea seeks an experienced Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead data management activities for late-phase clinical trials. This role involves developing data management strategies, overseeing quality standards, and collaborating across functional teams in a remote or hybrid capacity within EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Lead all technical data management aspects including study start-up, maintenance, and closure activities
- Develop global Data Management and Quality Management Plans ensuring accurate and timely clinical data
- Coordinate clinical data model development, database design, and eCRF annotation with stakeholders
- Oversee data review staff performance and provide goal creation and performance assessment
- Identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and project delivery
Requirements
- University degree in life science, pharmacy, or related field; or relevant professional certification
- Leadership experience managing data across late-phase (IIb-III) trials and multiple therapeutic areas
- Proficiency with EDC systems, particularly RAVE and other platforms
- In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, data management, and regulatory obligations
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation abilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams on project strategies and operational goals
