Computer Science ECT - Innovative School in Sheffield

The Role
Delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE).
Teaching core programming concepts including Python, SQL, and HTML/CSS.
Contributing to the development of a creative and inclusive Computing curriculum.
Engaging students with hardware projects, robotics, and cybersecurity challenges.
Acting as a Form Tutor and supporting the pastoral wellbeing of a dedicated cohort.
Utilizing modern PC suites and cloud-based learning platforms to enhance student outcomes.
Participating in the school’s extensive STEM enrichment programme and coding clubs.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A strong degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and digital trends.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire diverse learners.
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to engage fully with the ECT mentor programme.
A proactive approach to professional development and reflective teaching practice.
