Head of Paid Social

£40k - £55k per annum

Ilkley, West Yorkshire · Hybrid · Full-Time

We're looking for a technically elite paid social operator to own and scale our Meta acquisition channels across our portfolio of B2C lead generation brands — legal, boilers, solar, hearing care, air conditioning, mortgages, financial services and more.

This is a direct response, lead generation role. Not brand. Not content. You'll be managing close to £1 million in annual ad spend across multiple verticals and accounts.

What You'll Own

• End-to-end Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaign management across all verticals

• Campaign architecture — account structure, audience strategy, budget allocation

• Full technical ownership of Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), and event tracking

• Creative strategy — briefing hooks, copy angles, and ad formats with our paid media and creative team

• A/B testing frameworks across creative, audiences, placements and offers

• Budget scaling decisions — knowing when to push and when to pull

• CPL reporting, lead quality tracking, and performance insight

• Policy compliance across regulated verticals (legal, finance, healthcare)

Required Technical Skills

• Expert-level Meta Ads Manager experience

• Proven lead generation campaign management

• Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) implementation

• Advanced audience targeting, retargeting and lookalike strategies

• A/B testing and campaign optimisation

• GA4 and GTM attribution analysis

• CRM integrations and lead tracking

• Data analysis and performance reporting

• Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) — specifically for social landing pages

• Lead generation funnel design and strategy

• Lead nurturing workflows

• Direct response ad copywriting

• Creative testing frameworks

• Meta Andromeda / AI delivery — working with the algorithm, not against it

Bonus Points

• Experience in lead gen verticals (finance, home improvement, healthcare)

• GoHighLevel CRM

• TikTok Ads

• Native Ads (Taboola, Outbrain or similar)

• UGC and VSL creative briefing

Who You Are

• 3–5+ years hands-on paid social, with 2+ years managing £250k+ annual budgets

• You think in CPL, lead volume and ROI — cost per qualified lead is what keeps you sharp

• Analytically rigorous, creatively curious — you know what stops a scroll and converts a click

• You understand what makes a social landing page convert, not just what drives the click

• Self-managed, accountable, and comfortable holding multiple verticals simultaneously

• Ambitious — this role has real upward trajectory in a fast-scaling business

The Package

• £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience

• Hybrid — Ilkley, West Yorkshire

• ~£1M annual ad budget under management
