Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Plumbing Biased) FM Service Provider | Charing Cross, London | Up to £43,000 Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer or Plumber looking for your next challenge? CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management Service Provider for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a prestigious commercial office building in Charing Cross, London. The successful candidate will have a mechanical/plumbing bias, holding a relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification, and will bring a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working as part of a collaborative on-site maintenance team of 2 Engineers, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance across the building. In return, the client offers a competitive salary of up to £43,000, alongside strong opportunities for further training and career development.

- Pumps, motors, seals, and bearings – maintenance and repair
- Emergency lighting – testing and maintenance
- Air conditioning – servicing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning
- Water treatment – temperature monitoring and compliance checks
- Plumbing – reactive works including unblocking toilets, replacing taps, and general plumbing repairs
- BMS – monitoring and basic operation (hot and cold water systems, LTHW, DHWS, CHW)
