Housekeeper Wanted - Seeking Experienced Housekeeper In Finchampstead 9 Hours Per Week.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised Housekeeper to support our family and help maintain our home to an exceptional standard. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys creating calm, order and consistency, takes genuine pride in their work, and is confident working independently. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, uses their initiative, enjoys working within well-established household systems and routines, and takes ownership of ensuring the home runs smoothly. Our home is supported by household manuals and procedures that provide guidance on how we like things to be cared for. We are looking for someone who values consistency, is happy to refer to these resources when needed, and appreciates working in a well-organised environment with clear expectations. Hours

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• 11:00am – 2:00pm (9 hours per week)

You will also need to be comfortable working around our two friendly cats, who are very much part of our family. Key Responsibilities Housekeeping

• Cleaning and maintaining our home to a consistently high standard.
• Emptying and loading the dishwasher.
• Emptying household bins.
• Changing bed linen.
• Bringing in the post.
• Keeping the home clean, organised and presentable at all times.

Laundry

• Managing all aspects of the household laundry, including washing, drying, hanging on the airer, folding, ironing and putting clothes away.
• Putting away ironing once returned from the laundry service.

Household Organisation

• Putting away the food shopping.
• Restocking household essentials and replenishable items throughout the home.
• Monitoring stock levels of cleaning products and household supplies.

Pet Care • Attending to the day-to-day housekeeping tasks associated with our two cats, including keeping feeding and litter areas clean and tidy. About You We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working in a private household, ideally within a larger home.
• Is professional, trustworthy and dependable.
• Is naturally organised, methodical and efficient.
• Has excellent attention to detail and consistently maintains high standards.
• Takes ownership of their work and enjoys keeping a home running smoothly.
• Is comfortable following established household systems and routines to ensure consistency.
• Has good time management skills and can prioritise their workload effectively.
• Enjoys working independently while communicating well when needed.
• Like to work around animals.
