We're seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with Makaton experience to join specialist SEND provisions across South Shields.
You'll support children with Autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), speech and language needs and additional communication needs, helping them engage in learning through personalised support and effective communication strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within SEND.
- Makaton training or confident practical use of Makaton.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, resilient and caring attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
