Service Technician with MOT Licence

Key role responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
• Liaise with customers explaining repairs and issues 
• Test the functionality of parts and systems
• Carry out MOT’s and retests, following DVSA framework
• Complete all required paperwork in line with franchise and company standards
• Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
• Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training
• Maintain the cleanliness of the workshop at all times
• Keep up-to-date with the most recent changes in technology, techniques and in the commercial developments

What we need from you:

• A full UK driving licence is essential
• Must have current up to date MOT Licence
• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• A high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
• Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
• Self-motivated and customer-focused
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deliver customer distinction at all times 
• Enthusiastic approach to your ongoing learning and development

Location : Letchworth Garden City

Hours : Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm

Salary : £28,000 plus Bonus
