We're looking for an experienced, passionate Radiographer to support as the X-ray Clinical Lead for the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital Sites of UHD. The role of the X-ray Clinical Lead is to be the operational manager for X-ray, DEXA, Fluoroscopy and Dental services. The role includes managing around 70 members of staff and combines clinical practice with team leadership, service improvement, radiation protection and clinical governance. University Hospitals Dorset is one of Britain's leading healthcare providers in the NHS. It was created in October 2020 by bringing together two Trusts: Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital. The new Trust has a turnover of approximately £720m and employs over 9,000 members of staff. Main duties of the job
The X-ray Clinical Lead Radiographer will be responsible for the leadership and operational management of the service provided at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital sites. The successful applicant will ensure delivery of responsive, high quality and efficient services within the resources available without compromising the quality of care we provide to our patients. Providing professional leadership to the Radiography staff, setting the standard for clinical delivery and promoting inclusive, compassionate behaviours across our teams.
