Director, Advisory - Retail and Consumer Goods, UK (m/f/d)

The UK is a strategic growth market for EPAM and one of Europe’s major retail and consumer goods markets. You will have direct access to senior leadership and early commercial responsibility. You will also have the opportunity to build our retail and consumer goods practice in the UK, backed by the scale, AI capabilities and engineering excellence of a global technology leader.

As Director, you will own senior client relationships, typically at CTO, CDO, CMO or COO level. You will lead large or multiple concurrent engagements and turn complex business and technology challenges into compelling proposals and measurable outcomes. You will be a recognized voice with clients and in the market, and you will play a direct role in growing our people and our practice.

Own senior client relationships. Act as a trusted advisor to executives at leading retailers and consumer goods companies in the UK Lead complex engagements. Oversee large or concurrent programs in areas such as omnichannel commerce, AI and data strategy, supply chain and ERP modernization, retail media and revenue growth management. Ensure delivery quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction Grow the business. Shape proposals and develop new and existing client relationships. Build EPAM’s retail and consumer goods footprint in the UK Connect strategy with delivery. Turn complex retail and consumer goods challenges into clear recommendations that EPAM’s engineering, data and AI teams can deliver. Draw on relevant EPAM platforms and technology partnerships Build our market reputation. Develop viewpoints and represent EPAM Advisory at client, industry and leadership forums. Strengthen our credibility in the UK retail and consumer goods market Develop future leaders. Coach and sponsor consultants, strengthen the leadership pipeline and contribute to practice development, methods and published insights A degree or equivalent professional experience Ten or more years of progressive experience in management consulting or technology advisory, with significant focus on retail, grocery, fashion, e-commerce or consumer goods Experience in AI-enabled transformation in retail or consumer goods, including GenAI and agentic AI, with a clear view of how AI creates commercial value A strong track record of owning and growing senior client relationships at CTO, CDO, CMO or COO level, including business development and pipeline responsibility Proven experience leading large or multiple concurrent engagements, from proposal through delivery, in retail or consumer goods Deep understanding of the retail and consumer goods value chain, from product development and supply chain to omnichannel commerce, store operations, marketing and revenue management Working knowledge of one or more areas: composable commerce; ERP and supply chain systems; retail media; personalization and data architecture; revenue growth management; digital operating model design Demonstrated market visibility through thought leadership, industry participation, conference contributions or equivalent executive-level influence A strong track record of coaching consultants and developing future leaders Direct industry experience within a major retailer or consumer goods company An established network within the UK retail and consumer goods community at CTO, CDO or CMO level Direct exposure to retail media, AI-powered pricing, personalization or revenue growth management in retail or consumer goods Knowledge of leading retail and consumer goods technology platforms, such as SAP, Adobe Commerce, commercetools, Salesforce, Bloomreach or Fluent Commerce, or equivalent Active involvement in retail industry associations or forums, such as the British Retail Consortium
