We are looking for a driven and proactive individual to take on a 6 month contract position of Senior Cloud Native Engineer for a client of ours in London.
The role will be hybrid working 2 days per week onsite in their Central London office.This is a key role within the System Engineering team, focusing on building internal tools to support our fibre products life cycle, along with customer-facing products that make our customer journey an efficient, painless experience.
The ideal candidate:- Loves building things!
- Your primary language of choice is, PHP, Python, or Go
- Has knowledge and experience of all stages of web development across scoping, UI/UX, software engineering following TDD/BDD, and follows best practices concerning life cycle management
- Has experience with building microservices and APIs
- Strong exposure to Kubernetes and/or Kafka would be ideal
- Agrees that engineers should own their products entire life cycle deployment mentality here!
- Just as comfortable building prototypes, internal tools, microservices, and APIs
