A market-leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate into its top-tier Real Estate Finance team in Manchester. Consistently recognised by the legal directories as a leader across real estate disciplines, the firm combines deep sector knowledge with technical excellence and commercial focus. The Manchester office works seamlessly with London and Southampton, as well as European colleagues, delivering complex, high-value transactions for a sophisticated client base.

The Opportunity
This is a senior, deal-leading role within a highly regarded Real Estate Finance team.
You will:
- Lead on complex real estate finance transactions across a broad range of asset classes.
- Act for banks, investment banks, private equity funds, alternative lenders, developers and sponsor clients.
- Draft and negotiate key finance documentation including facility agreements, fee letters and priority arrangements.
- Manage deal teams, supervising junior associates, trainees and paralegals.
- Work closely with partners on strategically important mandates.
- Play a visible role in client relationship development and the continued growth of the Manchester platform.
You will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment on high-value, often cross-border matters within a nationally and internationally integrated team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years’ PQE.
- Strong experience in real estate finance or banking with exposure to real estate-backed lending.
- Confident leading transactions and managing junior team members.
- Technically strong with experience drafting and negotiating core finance documentation.
- Commercially astute with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Motivated to take on responsibility within a market-leading practice.
