HGV Class 1 Driver - Immediate Starts - £21.00 an hour

KPI Recruiting are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Southampton. Our client is a leading provider in the delivery industry within the UK, with state-of-the-art vehicles and services provided! Our client is looking to add to their pool of HGV Class 1 Drivers as they continue to grow and expand their team.

Job description:

* ADHOC or Shift work available
* Limited experience or newly qualified drivers will be considered
* Morning, Afternoon or Night Shift
* £21.00 per hour
* Ongoing and temp to perm opportunities
* Average of an 8 hour day
* Year-round positions
* Opportunity for overtime
* Drivers' benefits include - weekly pay, additional shifts within KPI driving contacts available, use of state-of-the-art vehicles.
* Load Security
* Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of shift
* Defect/ Problem reporting

Your role will include driving the HGV Class 1 vehicle across the country, delivering to different Depots across the UK. you will be required to load and unload when needed so handball can be involved.

Rates (PAYE) -

* £21.00 per hour nights

The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Driver will need the following:

* All up to date driving licence, CPC and Digi along with HIAB licence
* No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
* Hi vis and safety boots
* 6 months to 1 year experience (preferred)
* No more than 6 points (no majors)
