YOUTH SEXUAL HEALTH & RELATIONSHIPS LEAD
£18.35k per annumFull-time
Salary: £18,354 per annum (actual salary). (Full-time equivalent salary: £31,813 per annum)Hours: 25 Hours per Week. Term Time Only (42 Weeks per Year)Based: Across County Durham What we offer:

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in youth work, nursing, public health, education, social care, community development or other related fields. Key Responsibilities Include: • Delivering outreach sexual health sessions across County Durham.
• Providing sexual health information, advice and guidance to young people.
• Delivering C-Card assessments and promoting chlamydia screening.
• Delivering workshops and educational sessions on relationships and sexual health.
• Supervising and supporting sessional staff.
• Monitoring service outcomes and preparing reports for managers, trustees and commissioners.
• Attending partnership meetings and representing the service.
• Identifying safeguarding concerns and supporting young people to access specialist services where required. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has: • Experience of working directly with young people.
• Knowledge of sexual health, healthy relationships and issues affecting young people.
• Experience of delivering education, health promotion or support services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience of partnership working.
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Comfortable driving larger vehicles including minibuses and vans.
