Multi-Skilled Electrician (Facilities Maintenance)
CBW have a new opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced Multi-Skilled Electrician to join a facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of building services systems within commercial and industrial environments. Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Perform emergency lighting testing and general electrical inspections.
- Maintain and repair building services, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Work on a variety of systems including lighting, power, and mechanical services.
- Follow method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner.
- Accurately report and document technical information and completed work.
- Lighting systems and small power installations
- Low voltage electrical distribution systems and switchgear
- Fire alarm systems
- Ventilation and air conditioning (A/C) systems
- Low temperature hot water (LTHW) heating boilers and pumps
- Domestic hot and cold water systems
- Recognised electrical industry qualification
- Fully qualified electrician with IEE 18th Edition certification
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Experience in facilities management and general electrical maintenance
- Strong understanding of risk assessments and safe working practices
- Ability to follow instructions, interpret plans, and communicate effectively
- C&G 2391 – Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations
- Multi-skilled with a proactive approach to maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Salary up to £38,000
