Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: The Employer

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire B98

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
A female in her 50’s with various physical needs living in the Redditch area of Worcestershire is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide help and support with daily tasks, accessing the local community and attending any GP or Hospital appointments when required. Our client works part-time and enjoys shopping, meeting friends for lunch or a coffee & chat and enjoys crafting.

Main duties:

Domestic Duties:
 Support with Grocery shopping
 Assisting preparing and cooking food
 General cleaning
 Changing bed linen and doing laundry

Social duties:
 Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
 Attend medical appointments when required
 Do hobbies such as crafting, watching films
 Attend social events

Personal care: Provide occasional support with personal care

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

 Specific requirements: Someone with a valid driver’s licence and someone who is willing to drive the client’s vehicle.

 Other: Due to the nature of this role including medical care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.

Hours of work: 20 hours per week

Rate of pay: £13.01 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
 Full UK driving licence
 Car and appropriate insurance
 Non-smoker
 Good time keeping
 Confidentiality
 Good at building relationships
 Willing to work weekends if required by the Employer

Preferred:
 Computer literate
 Good communicator
 A good listener
