A well-established high street law firm is seeking a Senior Conveyancer or Head of Conveyancing (3 Years PQE+) to lead its residential property department following a recent acquisition of the practice and the planned retirement of the current Partner.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional looking to take ownership of an established department with significant growth potential. The firm enjoys a strong local reputation and benefits from longstanding relationships with estate agents and introducers, resulting in a consistent flow of quality instructions and repeat business.
The Role

Requirements
- Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) .
- Strong experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable but not essential.
- Commercially minded with an interest in developing and growing a department.
- Strong client care and relationship management skills.
- Established caseload with no shortage of work.
- Strong referral network and estate agent relationships.
- Support from an experienced Conveyancing Assistant.
- Hybrid working.
- Genuine autonomy to shape and grow the department.
