Accounts Senior

We are currently working with a well respected Accountancy practices based near Dartford, who are looking to hire an experienced Accountant for a Senior Accountant position, they are looking for a hard work individual who is self motivated and who has at least 3 years of Accountancy practices experience.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Preparation and review of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies
• Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, rental portfolios and individuals.
• Preparation of Corporation Tax returns for companies
• Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
• Ad hoc projects as they arise, to include HMRC Let Property Campaign disclosures, Inheritance Tax reviews etc.
• Assist in the merger of our two practices

To be concidered for this opportunity you will need:

• To have at least 3 years of Accountancy practice experience
• To be a self-starter
• To be able to implement and consistently improve on best practice within the firm
• To be willing to play an active role in helping to develop and implement a strategic plan
• To be able to deliver systems training to staff and clients, when necessary.
• To be able to use their own judgment and excel at problem-solving
