Overview
The Associate Endovascular Planning Specialist is responsible for the planning of Custom Made and Zenith endovascular stent grafts under agreed instructions from physicians who are familiar with the requested endograft. This role is offered initially on a 2-year fixed-term contract and is based at our London Endovascular Planning Service, working as part of the dedicated planning team and collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider organisation.

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities will encompass, but will not be limited to:

• Review digital images with a view to planning an appropriate endovascular graft, with guidance and support as required.
• Plan custom made and standard Zenith endografts, with guidance and support as required.
• Consistently work towards agreed expectations and goals relating to the quality and volume of cases planned.
• Respond to customer and colleague enquiries and manage administrative responsibilities accurately and to a high standard.
• Liaise with referring physicians and Cook field teams to ensure the most appropriate graft design is agreed upon for treatment of the patient.
• Attend Planning Meetings for group discussions on complex cases and communicate with referring physicians and the Cook team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and Cook colleagues.
• Support training workshops with Planning and Sizing presentations/didactic sessions which are run at the Planning Centre, at centres throughout the region, or virtually.
• Improve the execution of tasks by actively listening to feedback from customers, colleagues and leadership.
• Attend procedures in a clinical setting, where there is ionizing radiation (x-ray).
• Attend meetings, conferences or workshops (some travel is required).
• Work in accordance with COOK’s policies, procedures and internal processes, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements and standards.

Qualifications
Full training will be provided for the role, including training on the relevant systems, processes and technical requirements. Some of following qualifications, skills and experience are therefore desirable rather than essential, and would be beneficial in supporting success in the role:

1. Qualifications & technical experience

• Qualified Radiographer, Medical Imaging Technologist or equivalent qualification, with CT imaging experience preferred.
• Experience working with CT workstations preferred.
• Experience using TeraRecon or similar medical imaging/viewing software preferred.
• Experience delivering training or presentations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
