Full-time
Health Alliance PCN
ARRS GP (Harrow)
Closing date: 25 August 2026

Job summary
Health Alliance Primary Care Network is seeking enthusiastic and forward-thinking GPs to join our supportive and well-established team.
This is a permanent salaried GP role, with part-time or full-time opportunities available. We can offer up to 8 sessions per week, depending on candidate availability and service requirements.
You will work across our member practices in Harrow, supporting high-quality, patient-centred care within a collaborative PCN environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a GP who wants to contribute to a thriving Primary Care Network, work with a diverse patient population, and be part of a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
As a GP with Health Alliance PCN, you will provide safe, effective and high-quality primary care to our patient population.
Key duties will include routine and urgent consultations, face-to-face and by telephone; assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and long-term conditions; prescribing safely in line with local and national guidance; undertaking home visits where clinically required; and managing clinical administration including results, letters, referrals, tasks and repeat prescriptions.
You will also support delivery of GMS, QOF, Enhanced Services and local PCN requirements, participate in duty/on-call sessions where required, maintain accurate records using EMIS, and work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, care coordinators and wider health and social care professionals.

About us
Health Alliance is a long-established Primary Care Network in Harrow, with the senior partner having completed over 43 years of service in general practice.
We are made up of committed GP practices working together to improve care for our local population. We have a supportive culture, experienced clinical and managerial leadership, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, accessible and patient-centred care.
Health Alliance PCN offers GPs the opportunity to work in a friendly, progressive and well-supported environment, serving a diverse patient population across Harrow.

Job responsibilities
The post-holder will work as part of Health Alliance Primary Care Network, providing high-quality, safe and effective GP care to patients across our member practices.
The role will include core general practice duties, including routine and urgent consultations, face-to-face and by telephone, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of acute and long-term conditions.
The post-holder will prescribe safely and appropriately in line with local and national guidance, undertake home visits where clinically required, and manage clinical administration arising from consultations. This will include results, letters, referrals, tasks, repeat prescriptions and patient follow-up.
The GP will work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, care coordinators, social prescribers, mental health workers and wider health and social care professionals. The post-holder will support integrated care by ensuring patients receive appropriate referrals, follow-up and coordinated support.
The role will involve supporting delivery of GMS, QOF, Enhanced Services and local PCN requirements, as well as contributing to improved access, continuity of care and patient outcomes.
The post-holder will maintain accurate and timely consultation records using EMIS and follow practice and PCN policies, clinical protocols and safeguarding requirements.
The GP will contribute to health promotion and preventive care, helping patients understand and manage their health needs, including lifestyle advice, early intervention and long-term condition management.
The role may also include participation in duty/on-call sessions, Extended Hours services and clinical cover arrangements in line with agreed sessions and service requirements.
The post-holder will be expected to support colleagues where appropriate, contribute to a positive team culture, and help maintain high standards of clinical care across the PCN.
