An established and welcoming Independent School in Northampton is seeking a reliable and responsible Minibus Driver to join our dedicated support team.

This is a key role within the school community, ensuring our pupils travel safely and comfortably to and from school, fixtures and educational visits.

The Role

• Safely transport pupils on designated morning and afternoon routes

• Drive students to sports fixtures, trips and school events as required

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the minibus

• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times

• Report any vehicle defects, incidents or concerns promptly

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence (Category D1 preferred)

• Has previous minibus or passenger transport experience (desirable)

• Is punctual, dependable and professional at all times

• Enjoys working within a school environment

• Has a calm, friendly manner with children and young people

A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential. All staff are expected to share the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
