Indirect Tax Manager, Manufacturing Business, London, to £95k
£70k - £95k per annumA multi-national manufacturing business is currently seeking an indirect tax manager, to join their in-house VAT team. This is a newly created role to provide direction for the group’s VAT compliance process and ensuring the team’s personal growth and development. You will report directly into the Head of VAT and will have 3 direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire compliance process, ensuring that VAT returns are completed and submitted on time by managing your 4 direct reports
- Monitor the VAT compliance pipeline, ensuring returns are accurate and filed on time
- Mentor the team members on best practice for VAT compliance
- Ad hoc assistance with VAT queries from group and strategy
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent qualified
- Proven VAT knowledge for the UK
- Experience of people management is essential
- A strong personality with good confidence
