A forward-thinking, design-led Independent School in Bedfordshire is seeking a confident and reflective Design & Technology Teacher to join their DT Faculty immediately . The department has a very strong reputation, producing exhibition-quality student work and encouraging real design thinking rather than quick template outcomes.
About the Role
You will teach DT across KS3–KS5 , guiding students through:
Iterative design processes
CAD modelling and 3D visualisation
Engineering problem-solving approaches
Prototyping, refinement, and final product finishing
Project work is purposeful , rigorous , and student-owned — not rushed or pre-formatted.
