AstraZeneca seeks a Director to lead AI transformation across Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs in Alexion UK & Ireland. The role involves identifying and scaling generative AI solutions throughout the rare-disease product lifecycle, from early planning through lifecycle management, while building adoption and measuring business impact.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize and scale AI-enabled workflows improving Sales, Marketing and Medical Affairs effectiveness
- Design and deploy AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents and automation platforms
- Lead pilot programs testing AI solutions in commercial and medical settings, measuring adoption and ROI
- Drive change and adoption of AI-enabled ways of working across functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or related field
- Significant pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare experience with product lifecycle knowledge
- Proven track record leading digital transformation, process redesign, or automation programs
- Microsoft Copilot certification or equivalent Microsoft AI credential
- Formal training or certification in AI, machine learning, or generative AI with practical business application
- Experience assessing AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and risk
- Cross-functional influence and stakeholder management without formal authority
