Job Title: Treatment Room Practice Nurse – Chard Emergency
Location: Chard Emergency
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Treatment Room Practice Nurse for a GP practice in Chard Emergency . The role suits a nurse with primary care experience who wants variety across chronic disease clinics, immunisations and treatment room work.
Key Responsibilities
- Run chronic disease clinics including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension.
- Deliver childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations.
- Carry out cervical screening and wound care.
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
- Maintain accurate records on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
