Childcare Solicitor/Legal Executive

Our specialist family focused law firm in Taunton is expanding and seeks a talented Childcare Lawyer to join the growing team

The role – what you’ll be doing will include
- Manage your own caseload of children/childcare matters
- You will have dedicated paralegal support & join a highly experienced team of senior Solicitors, Newly Qualified Solicitors, Trainees and Paralegals
- Represent parents, family members and children in all aspects of public law proceedings across courts predominately in the South West
- Representing children in R16.4 proceedings
- Private law children work is also available
What you’ll need
- To be a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in family/childcare law
- Those already on the Childrens Panel are encouraged to apply, as are more junior lawyers looking to achieve panel membership (with the firms full support)

- Highly competitive salary based on experience up to £75k

- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements (office/home working, part time and compressed hours available). For existing panel members potential to only come into the Taunton office occasionally (as well as attend local courts)
