This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to take the next step in their career or for an established AP Supervisor seeking a new challenge within a growing organisation.
The RoleAs the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function while managing and supporting a small team. You'll play a key role in ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time, maintaining strong controls and continuously looking for ways to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support a small Accounts Payable team.
- Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Manage supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any queries.
- Support month-end close activities relating to Accounts Payable.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching where required.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor or Senior Accounts Payable position.
- Experience managing or mentoring a small finance team.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using NetSuite would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential .
- Salary: 40,000 - 45,000
- Permanent opportunity (temp-to-perm will also be considered)
