Job Title: SEMH Teacher Location: Runcorn Start Date: Immediate Salary: £140 - £220 per day Are you a qualified Teacher with the resilience and confidence to support pupils who have experienced challenges in mainstream education? Can you deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum while adapting your teaching to meet individual learning and SEMH needs? Do you have a subject specialism and the confidence to lead and develop a subject area? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 Pupil Referral Unit in Runcorn, providing education for pupils who have been permanently excluded or who require support outside of a mainstream school environment. The setting promotes a safe and supportive environment built around respect, personalised learning and helping pupils develop the confidence, independence and skills required for their next steps. The school is looking to take on a passionate SEMH Teacher from September on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right SEMH Teacher. The successful SEMH Teacher will be expected to confidently teach across the curriculum and adapt lessons to meet individual needs, while a subject specialism and the ability to lead a subject area would be highly desirable.
