This role involves delivering high-quality CYP ASD assessments within a multidisciplinary team, following NICE guidelines, DSM-5/ICD-11 criteria, and SOPs.
Key responsibilities include conducting detailed developmental assessments, using validated tools like ADOS-2, integrating multi-informant evidence, and contributing to MDT decision-making.
The postholder will produce clear, neurodiversity-affirming reports, communicate outcomes sensitively, and support service governance, safeguarding, and continuous improvement activities.
Essential qualifications include a Clinical Psychology degree, HCPC registration, and significant experience with children and young people in neurodevelopmental services.
Desirable skills include ADOS-2 training, experience with dual presentations (ASD/ADHD), and service development.
Salary ranges from £60,000 to £70,000 annually, with a hybrid work location.
