Automation Engineer

My client in the Antwerp area are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. 

Responsibilities: ​​​​

• Implementing and commissioning PLC control systems; analysing and assessing industrial automation projects.

• Supporting the maintenance department in the event of complex faults.

• Establishing standards, protocols, models and common practice in industrial automation.

• Creating specifications of the PLC control systems to be developed.

Requirements:

• Experience Industrial Engineer with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment;

• Siemens S7 and TIA PLC programming.

• Interpretting electrical diagrams

• SCADA systems (TIA, WinCC). Knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, Profinet/Profibus is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing;

• Dutch and English
