- Minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control or a similar high-volume customer environment
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful debt recovery
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
- Exceptional communication and telephone manner
- Organised and proactive with strong time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of KPIs and performance measurement
What you'll do
- Proactively manage inbound and outbound calls to chase outstanding payments
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies to facilitate collection efforts
- Collaborate with external agencies to recover debts and meet objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and data protection regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all activities and debt recovery progress
- Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and escalate issues as needed to management
