Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment is seeking to appoint a Service Development Officer on behalf of our client, a charitable organisation committed to supporting the local community.
Key Responsibilities: Service Development & Promotion Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and promote services across the local area.Explore and enhance the use of social media and other communication channels to increase awareness and service usage.
Actively promote services by establishing and maintaining links with local organisations across all sectors.
Identify opportunities to deliver services in a sustainable and effective manner.
Research suitable funding opportunities in conjunction with the Service Manager and assist with the preparation and submission of funding applications. Service Delivery Support the safe and effective delivery of services across both operational sites.
Deputise for the Service Manager as required.
Assist in ensuring high standards of customer service and operational effectiveness are maintained. Hours: 15 hours per week (across 3 days)
Salary: £14.50 per hour
Contract: 1-year fixed-term contract (with potential extension subject to funding) Location: The role is based in Neath; however, travel between the Neath office and the Port Talbot base will be required. For more information please contact our office on View phone number on findajob.dwp.gov.uk.
