The Opportunity

We're looking for enthusiastic and player-focused coaches to support the development of talented U6-U8 players across our Pre-Academy Development Centres. Working within our Academy pathway, you'll play an important role in delivering engaging coaching sessions, identifying future Academy talent, and supporting young players to reach their full potential in line with our Coaching Methodology.

With Development Centres operating every evening of the week across the South East, within approximately 60-75 minutes of Cobham, this is a fantastic opportunity to coach regularly in a flexible casual role.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate coaching sessions for U6-U8 players.
• Support player development through planning, delivery and review processes.
• Monitor and record player progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
• Assist with the identification and recruitment of talented players into the Academy pathway.
• Build positive relationships with players, parents and colleagues.
• Uphold Academy values, safeguarding standards and professional behaviours.
• Engage in ongoing CPD and personal development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• UEFA C Licence.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Experience coaching in an Academy or elite youth football environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Confidence working with players, parents and staff.

Desirable

• UEFA B Licence.
• FA Advanced Youth Award (or working towards).
• Sports-related degree.
• Experience working within an Academy talent pathway.
