Founded in 1970, Campion's purpose is to provide a first-class education for boys and girls aged between three and eighteen. We cultivate pupils' skills through a rich curriculum, an extensive programme of sporting activities and many opportunities to participate in musical and theatrical performances. Our International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) results are consistently five to six points above the world average, with nearly all our pupils progressing to higher education. Last year, our IB average was 36 points and among the best in Europe. Our most recent ISI inspection (March 2023) judged the Educational Quality we provide to our pupils to be excellent.

We are looking for a committed and outstanding part-time (65%) Science teacher, with a specialism in Biology, to join our Senior School Science Department. Although advertised as part-time there is scope for a full-time position for the right candidate.
What we are looking for:
Key Responsibilities
Teach IB Biology at Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL), IGCSE Biology and KS3 General Science
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB philosophy
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Support students with Internal Assessments and exam preparation
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development
Requirements
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, BEd, or equivalent) to teach Biology
A degree in Biology or related discipline
A track record of excellent teaching IB/IGCSE and KS3
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to international-mindedness and student-centred learning
Fluent in English language
Desirable
IB training and/or examiner experience
Experience teaching in an international school setting
Ability to teach an additional subject (advantageous but not essential)
