Outpatients Hospital Community Pharmacy role - Stoke - 12 months Hospital Pharmacist (Newly Qualified Pharmacists Considered) Location: Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire Salary: Competitive rate + excellent benefits Hours: Part-Time - 8 hours per alternate weekend (Saturday 4 hours & Sunday 4 hours) Flexible working available, including the option to work every weekend. The Role As a Hospital Pharmacist, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmacy services within a busy hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately dispensing prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Providing medication counselling and clinical advice to patients.
• Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.
• Conducting medication reviews and promoting the safe and effective use of medicines.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting stock management.
• Delivering NHS and clinical pharmacy services where appropriate.
• Advising patients on medicines and healthcare products.
• Supporting health promotion initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services.

About the Pharmacy Based within a major teaching hospital, this busy outpatient pharmacy dispenses approximately 15,000 prescription items each month, offering an excellent opportunity to broaden your hospital pharmacy experience. You'll benefit from:

What We're Looking For

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), or a newly qualified Pharmacist eligible to register.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is desirable, although newly qualified Pharmacists with a keen interest in developing within a hospital setting are encouraged to apply.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to ongoing professional development.
