Cat Smith is seeking a motivated, organised and compassionate Caseworker to join her constituency team in Lancaster on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives by supporting residents with issues including housing, immigration, welfare, health, education, and local government services.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering excellent public service, able to work sensitively with people facing difficult circumstances, and capable of managing a varied and demanding caseload.
You’ll join a friendly and supportive team working from the constituency office in Lancaster, with some opportunities to support Parliamentary duties in Westminster.
While flexibility is important, this is not a hybrid role. Staff may, by agreement, work from home on an ad hoc basis where operationally appropriate. This flexibility is intended to support occasional needs rather than regular home-working.
