Job description
We at McParlands are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our giftware shop (16 hours per week). If you enjoy working with customers and have a passion for unique gifts and retail sales, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in selecting gift items.
- Provide excellent customer service and product information.
- Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the shop is tidy and organised.
- Handle sales transactions and operate the cash.
- Restock shelves and monitor inventory levels.
- Promote special offers and new products.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Customer focused approach.
- Good communication and skills.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.
Desirable Skills
- Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage but not essential.
