We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our team in Hemel Hempstead.

Role Overview:

To lead and coordinate multiple project workstreams, ensuring the successful delivery of business objectives through effective planning, governance, and stakeholder management.

The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining compliance with established processes and standards, and ensuring accurate data management across systems and reporting platforms.

The Project Manager will oversee supply chain performance, manage the transfer and validation of data from legacy spreadsheets into business systems, and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of project information.

A key aspect of the role is maintaining robust budgetary control, providing accurate forecasting, monitoring financial performance, and proactively managing risks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical capability, and a continuous improvement mindset to optimise processes, enhance data accuracy, and deliver measurable business value across all assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple project workstreams, ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives, timescales, and quality standards.
• Provide direct line management to delivery teams, including regular team meetings, one-to-one reviews, performance management, and development planning.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, governance frameworks, and operational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and service performance.
• Oversee the accurate migration, validation, and maintenance of data within business systems.
• Maintain high standards of data integrity, reporting accuracy, and management information.
• Manage supply chain activities and supplier relationships to support effective project delivery.
• Own project budgets, ensuring robust cost control, financial governance, and value for money.
• Produce accurate forecasts, monitor financial performance, and proactively manage risks and variances.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, providing clear communication, reporting, and leadership across all project activities.

You Will Need:

• Proven experience in project management, programme delivery, or operational delivery management, managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Demonstrable leadership experience with direct line management responsibility, including performance reviews, coaching, team development, and employee engagement.
• Strong financial management skills with experience of budget ownership, cost control, and accurate forecasting.
• Experience managing supply chains, suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholder relationships.
• Advanced analytical and organisational skills, with a strong focus on data accuracy, reporting, and process compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with experience of managing and transferring data into business systems.

Desirable:

• Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP, Agile Practitioner or equivalent).
• Experience in social house and relevant qualifications (CIH/RICS)
• Knowledge of project management systems and data migration activities.
• Experience developing performance dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting to support operational decision-making.
